My design for the Red Moon poster

Here’s Red Moon in its entirety. The film collective that I work with Sirocco Research Labs made this short about 2 years ago and it’s been working its way around the festival circuit. We released it 4 days ago and it has accumulated over 11,000 views!

Here’s some info:

Chronicling the life and times of famed Soviet submarine commander, and hapless werewolf, Captain Alexei Ovechkin.

Official Selection 2011 Atlanta Film Festival, Hollyshorts Film Festival, St. Louis International Film Festival, and 2012 Oxford Film Festival.

Jimmy came to me to redesign his portfolio/blog to bring it more in line with the quality and aesthetic of his work. We co-produced a typeface based on Jimmy’s handwriting that is used throughout the site. The home page houses his current selected works; on Updates!, his thoughts from Twitter, photos, and blog posts are aggregated in one place; and the Info section has his reel and contact information. Jimmymarble.com represents Jimmy’s personality, his work, and his life.

DVD Compilation

Sirocco Research Labs has a pop-up shop going at ReForm School in LA. They’ll be selling records, posters, clothing, DVDs, and tons of other stuff until the end of August. I designed the DVD compilation cover and the flyers for the shop. Both photos are stills from music videos that the labs made this year.

The city of Gillette, Wyoming recently started a health initiative called the GYM60 Program to get people more active. Cameron and I were hired to design and build a web app for tracking how much you walk on a daily basis. You can also join teams, compare teams head to head, add your friends, view achievements, and more.

There are two sites: gym60program.com is an information site and walk.gym60program is the web app. gym60program.com was built on WordPress and walk.gym60program was built with the Django web framework.
