The new book from Mal­colm Glad­well. Seems to be on every nerd’s wish­list. I’m really look­ing for­ward to read­ing this. Avail­able from Amazon.com for $17.

2. New Sci­en­tist Mag­a­zine Subscription

I’ve been read­ing the lim­ited con­tent from New Sci­en­tist Online for a while now. This is a great way to keep up on the newest in sci­ence, tech, and space. Newscientist.com $69 for a year and full access to web content.

3. Dell 2408WFP 24in Monitor

I need more desk­top space for design work. Bonus: this mon­i­tor will dou­ble as a HDTV. Avail­able from Dell.com for $517 (on sale).

4. Alu­minum Mac­book or Mac­book Pro

My Mac­book is an orig­i­nal Core­Duo (not the newer Core2Duo) and I’ve had it for over two years. It’s been the best com­puter I’ve ever owned, but it’s time for an upgrade. Avail­able from Apple.com for $1299 for the Mac­book and $1999 for the Mac­book Pro.
