This is the fourth book that I’ve designed and the sec­ond I’ve edited for retired West­ern Wash­ing­ton Uni­ver­sity pro­fes­sor Richard Fran­cis. It’s going to print today so I thought I would share some of my favorite lay­outs. Both the pho­tographs of the Getty museum and the illus­tra­tion for the “Mas­ters” sec­tion are mine.
